Very purple! They serve 'food'. Used to expect people to sit in ridiculous plastic-wicker chairs, but they've thankfully got rid of them now! Despite the apparent large size of the bar, it still operates very inefficiently. Usually popular, have fairly regular events. Quite a central location. Serve the usual campus beers. The original Derwent College Bar was turned into the current porter's lodge in 1998. It was much more like a real pub than the new Derwent bar. It was a lot smaller and got very, very crowded during Derwent events.
