Was a fairly locals' pub that could tolerate a few students, however the pub was renovated in the latter half of 2001 giving it a much more modern feel. Large pub, nice atmosphere. Has several rooms, including a restaurant area at the back of the pub. Beers include the ever-cheap (around 1.25/pint) Sam Smiths Bitter. Welcoming - they also do a student offer on food.
