Name changed in 2005 when the pub came under new management. This pub has a late license so it can get very busy on a Friday or Saturday night. They serve Thwaites bitter (which, personally, I'm no great fan of), and lagers and lots of alco-pops. I've been told they're going to widen the entrance to increase their maximum safe capacity.
