A medium-sized pub, fairly welcoming. Often used as the start to the 'Micklegate Run'. This pub has been completely redecorated in October 2001, moving from it's traditional pub-like atmosphere to a much more modern, brighter appearance. The pub is quite large, with several different areas including an area with a projection TV and a conservatory area. Beers include Directors and John Smiths Cask. A popular pub.
